A rare Art Deco wardrobe / cabinet by Louis Süe (1875 - 1968) and André Mare (1885 - 1932) with carved capitals, tapered sides and fluted legs.
Featured on page 298 of Florence Camard’s 1993 book on Louis Süe and André Mare et La Compagnie Des Arts Francais (see scan attached).
In worn condition. Wears, knocks, scratches and chips but all rather aesthetically pleasing. Some slight sticking when opening and closing drawers. Small crack / tear to wardrobe door. Good for functional use.
